Community Harvest GardenLet us Cultivate, Share, and Celebrate the Abundance of Creation!
Become a Garden Volunteer or Guest GardenerWant to help us grow food for local food pantries? Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Help is needed to prepare, water, and weed the Shared Harvest Beds, as well as to harvest and deliver produce to local food pantries. NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED.
There are many reasons why you would want to become a Guest Gardener and adopt a bed. Maybe you want to learn how to grow vegetables, don’t have garden space of your own, or you want to save money on groceries. All of our guest gardeners contribute to care for the Shared Harvest Beds. We donated over 1,300 pounds of produce from those beds last season!
Maybe you don't want your own bed, but want to help grow fresh vegetable for local food pantries. Maybe you would like to make new friends, meet neighbors, or get some exercise. Whatever the reason, the Community Harvest Garden is bring people together to form new relationships and help feed our community. Let us know if you are interested in a bed or wish to volunteer this season. Contact us for more information. |
