Christ the King's first Advent program was held in 1989 when harpist Lin Grieser, was asked to play for an Advent brunch and program presented by WELCA, Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. That year’s program consisted of Lin on harp, some of her students, and a vocalist. The program has evolved over the years to include different themes, additional singers and instrumentalists.

Lin Grieser is a founding member of the Adagio Trio. The harp, cello, and flute trio has performed together since 1985. They have recorded five CDs and their music can be found on Spotify and Pandora. You can learn more about the Adagio Trio and sample their music at www.adagiotrio.com.
