Upcoming in Worship
March 24 & 25, both services
Shout Hosanna! The service will begin outside with palm branches waving, celebrating Jesus’ entrance into the city of Jerusalem. Then we turn to Jesus’ journey to the cross, with the READING OF THE PASSION according to MARK.
Thursday, March 29 @ 7:00 pm
This service will include foot washing, Holy Communion, and the stripping of the altar in preparation for Good Friday. The CtK Choir will provide special music.
Friday, March 30 @ 12:00 pm & 7:00 pm
These services will include the reading of the Passion and contemplative music. The evening service will also include prayer around the cross.
Saturday, March 31 @ 7:00 pm
This service will begin with the lighting of the New Fire. It continues with Stories of Salvation told in storyteller fashion, followed by Thanksgiving for Baptism and the first Easter Celebration of Holy Communion where Alleluias will return.
Easter Sunday Worship
Sunday, April 1 @ 9:00 am & 11:00 am
These worship services will be joyous celebrations our Risen Lord! The CtK choir will provide special music at both services. A brunch will be served between services.
Sundays @ 9:30-10:30 am
Through March 25
Revisit the many stories of salvation which are told during Easter Vigil. The group will pick one of these stories and create their own unique take on the story which will be presented during Easter Vigil worship (Saturday, March 31 @ 7:00 pm.)
Lenten Bible Study
Unbinding Your Heart by Martha Grace Reese
Tuesday mornings (February 20-March 20) @ 10:00-11:30 am
Wednesday evenings (February 21-March 21) @ 6:30-8:00 pm
This thought-provoking five week study on prayer and faith-sharing will challenge us “to start living a more exciting life with God and with each other...and to share that joy with people who don’t know it.”
The same material will be covered Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so come to which ever day works best for you.
On Wednesdays we will also share a simple soup dinner @ 6:00 pm
and conclude the evening by celebrating Compline/Evening Prayer with communion.
