Some of Our Many

Christian Education
  • Sunday School:  For all children and youth from preschool through 8th grade. Meets Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 am throughout the school year (7th and 8th grades will also start at 9:45 am). Adult and youth classroom leaders and helpers work with children in learning Biblical lessons, crafts, and singing.
  • Sunday Morning Open Forum:  
    Discussion of a wide variety of topics. Meeting Sunday morning from 10:00—10:40 am in the ARK classroom throughout the calendar year (for all high school youth and adults).

  • Confirmation:  A ministry of nurture and teaching for 7th and 8th graders as they prepare to affirm their faith in the Rite of Confirmation following 8th grade. Meets Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:20 pm and for Bible Study on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45 am throughout the school year. Weekend retreats and other special events are scheduled throughout the year.
  • LOGOS:  Weekly program for children in preschool through 6th grade: “You are a Child of God and I will Treat you that Way.” Includes playtime, worship skills, dinner, and Bible Study. Many opportunities to serve others, learn about God, and participate in inter-generational activities. Adults participate in many various ways—from Bible Study leaders to dinner table parents and kitchen clean up crew.
  • First Communion:  For children in 2nd grade and older who are ready to learn about and prepare for Communion. Parental participation is very beneficial. Meets on Sunday afternoons for 6 weeks, usually in the spring.
