Upcoming in Worship
Where’s the Water?
During the season of Lent, CtK’s baptismal font will be dry, as an image of the desert - where Jesus was tempted, where the Israelites wandered, where we linger; as an image of our Lenten fast – worshiping in a more subdued manor, no Alleluias; and of our thirst for baptism. The waters will once again gush forth on Easter Vigil, along with our joyous Alleluias.
Sanctuary Meditation Space & Paper Chains
The meditation space will remain set by the stained glass window for the whole season of Lent. Come anytime before, during, or after worship, or at anytime during the week to pray and reflect. Paper chain strips are there for you to write prayer concerns, names, or burdens, and add them to our growing display. If you have any prayer concerns to be spoken in worship or to be made known to the Pastor, please RESPOND HERE.

Lenten Bible Study
Unbinding Your Heart by Martha Grace Reese
Tuesday mornings (February 20-March 20) @ 10:00-11:30 am
Wednesday evenings (February 21-March 21) @ 6:30-8:00 pm
This thought-provoking five week study on prayer and faith-sharing will challenge us “to start living a more exciting life with God and with each other...and to share that joy with people who don’t know it.”
The same material will be covered Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so come to which ever day works best for you.
On Wednesdays we will also share a simple soup dinner
and celebrate Compline / Evening Prayer with communion.
