March 1 @ 7:30pm
Our Lenten JOURNEY together begins with ashes on our HEAD – a symbol of our humanity, repentance and need for the hand of God to lead us. This worship service will include the Burning of Burdens, the Imposition of Ashes, and Holy Communion.
Mid-week Lent Study & Worship
Every Wednesday during Lent @ 6:30-8:00 pm
(March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5)
This study is built around Luther’s Small Catechism and will look at each major section of the Small Catechism in turn: the Ten Commandments, the Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, baptism, and holy communion. Coinciding with the congregational reading of the Small Catechism, the Wednesday series will give an opportunity to gather together to discuss in depth each week’s topic. Worship will wrap-up the evening with a liturgy of Evening Prayer and Holy Communion.
