Prepare your heart and home for Advent
Open-house style: Come and go as you are able  
Advent is a time when we prepare to welcome Jesus into the world. Join us for an afternoon of creativity and inspiration to bring your heart and home into the spirit of Advent and Christmas. 

​Activities are appropriate for all ages, and everyone is invited to join us as we anticipate the start of Advent. The event is “open-house style” so you can come and go as you are able and participate in just the activities you choose. The Festival is free, but reservations are requested to ensure that we have enough supplies for all who want to participate. Fill out the form below to reserve your spot! Here are some of the creative options you'll get to choose from when you attend:

• Make an Advent wreath or calendar to take home
• Decorate (and eat!) Christmas cookies
•  Make an ornament to take home
• Create liturgical art for use at Christ the King during Advent
• Enjoy refreshments and live coffeehouse music
• Join a drum circle
• Receive communion “a la cart”
• Shop for a Christmas gift basket or purchase a quilt raffle ticket; proceeds benefit New Life Furniture Bank and the Faith Community United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
