The LOGOS program (whose children are in the above slideshow) is Christ the King's energetic and interactive Mid-Week Program. It provides a fun, structured environment where kid's can learn about God. There is one rule that governs Logos: "You are a child of God, and I will treat you that way". Logos children participate in an annual musical in the spring, adopt secret grandparents, and every other year participate with many other church children’s choirs in the Choristers’ Guild workshop. Logos is open to youth in grades 1 through 6 and welcomes adults in a variety of roles.
Sunday School begins with a fun filled opening in the church sanctuary at 9:45 am. where kids enjoy skits and music. Sunday-morning learning classes continue for this age group in the education wing. We use a hands-on bible curriculum for an exciting variety of age-appropriate learning activities.
Second-graders and their parents are invited to participate in First Communion instruction. This is conducted in the spring on five Sunday afternoons. The experience includes making communion bread, videos, and lots of fun. First communion is received during one of the Easter season services.
Parents, your involvement makes this kids’ ministry work. To offer up your talents and presence for kids, please contact the church office.
