This is a 2-year journey for Christ the King to experience the depth and breadth of God's love in worship, prayer, study of scripture, and sharing of faith as we discern the presence and will of God in our midst.

Steps in the Process
Throughout the summer, we have focused on telling our stories, praying about our abundance, assessing our personal and congregational resources, and identifying our neighbors.
If Christ the King where to shut it’s doors,
would our community notice?
That question goes to the heart of our being active, RELEVANT, faith-driven members of our community. Are we using the gifts and resources that God has blessed us with to serve our neighbors in the ways that they really need? If not, what changes do we need to make to live out our calling?
Through the summer, over 40 different groups and organizations were identified on our “neighbor” map. We are currently in the process of visiting these neighbors to LISTEN to their needs and concerns for our community. This is ALL about building relationships! After we have learned about these needs, we will brainstorm how (and even if) these needs match with our gifts and resources. Who knows were the Holy Spirit will lead us?
